The leading Swiss telecoms provider launches a creative online campaign to boost the attention surrounding Bluewin TV boxes. And what beats POV Video integrated in the 3D Papervision engine?
Swisscom, the leading telecoms provider of Switzerland with 5,5 million mobile customers, 1,8 million broadband connections and 19,970 employees, launched an online campaign to emphasise the evolutionary functionalities of the Bluewin TV box.
Both message and delivery were required to be comprehensible for a broader audience and thus seek to include the less hi-fi-minded.
The main idea of the campaign was to transcend a simulated experience of being seated in a sofa surrounded by a couple of friends with the many options of the Bluewin TV box at your disposal.
Technically, the solution was approached using POV Video integrated in the open-source, real-time 3D engine Papervision for ActionScript.
Conceptual, design and film-related phases were completed by the Zurich-based agencyatfront. Spoiled Milk was reponsible for the ActionScript development – or in other words: Ensuring the website user a smooth and memorable experience.
